Grants may be awarded while funding is available to
assist low income, owner occupied homeowners within the
City of Schenectady for a variety of emergency repairs.
Liens will be placed on homeowners property. SHARES
(Support for Homeowners Assistance in Resolving
Emergency Situations) NO FUNDING AT THIS TIME.
RESTORE (Residential Emergency Service To
Offer Repairs to the Elderly-aged 60 and older)
funding is for qualified homeowners and based on a first
come, first served basis.
GHIP
(Green Home Improvement Program) - funding is open to
City of Schenectady Homeowners who need home repairs.
Must be current on taxes, mortgage and have homeowners
insurance. Grants up to $60,000 are available to those
who qualify.
Protect Your Child Lead Program-this program is
available to homeowners AND tenants |
